Dr. Philip Fish grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended St. Louis University High School. He was raised from an early age to be a huge Mizzou football and basketball fan, and it was an easy choice for him to move to Columbia for his undergraduate studies.
Dr. Fish obtained his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Missouri. After working briefly in a research lab at the University of Missouri, he matriculated into the School of Medicine and earned his medical degree. He then completed his formal training in urologic surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Fish has a particular interest in minimally invasive robotic surgery and received extensive training in this field while in residency. He is excited to bring this skillset to central Missouri and provide patients with the best urologic care available.
Dr. Fish has spent a significant amount of time living in Columbia and has grown to love not only Columbia, but also the rest of central Missouri. He and his wife have very fond memories of spending time together in central Missouri and are excited for the opportunity to once again live and serve in the area that they love.

Dr. Fish received extensive training in minimally invasive robotic surgery. This provides patients with a faster recovery and an earlier hospital discharge. In addition to adult general urology, he is excited to provide this technology to the patients of central Missouri. In particular, he enjoys the surgical treatment of kidney and prostate cancers, as well as the management of BPH and kidney stones.
Dr. Fish and his wife, Angela, have three young boys who keep them very busy. Without Angela managing the busy household, Dr. Fish would not be able to spend the time he is able to with patients. In his free time, he also enjoys golf, fishing and is a huge sports fan, particularly of the Mizzou Tigers!
