Cary Adkisson, FNP-PC, is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of his patients. Originally from Mexico, MO, Cary now calls Columbia home, where he resides with his wife, Courtney, and their five children. With a strong commitment to evidence-based care and patient-centered treatment, Cary brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and personal dedication to his role in healthcare.
After graduating high school, Cary’s journey began with a B.S. in Business Administration from Columbia College, followed by two years in the sales industry. Realizing his true calling, he earned his BSN from the University of Missouri in 2013 and completed his MSN at Maryville University in 2019. Over the past five years, Cary has honed his skills as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, specializing in general surgery, bariatrics, urgent care, and family medicine.
Cary is committed to providing patient-centered care that empowers individuals to take an active role in their health. Whether he’s spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, or making a difference in his patients’ lives, Cary exemplifies dedication and compassion in everything he does.
